First impression
The exterior styling of the Uwell Crown X is fairly simple, but all the little details bring style to it. There is a display and ignition button on the front and an airflow switch on one side. The pods themselves fit nicely in your hand, with Type-C charging ports on the base, an activation switch on the front, a 0.96-inch Colored TFT Screen, and the “Crown X” logo on the map, while the back is a solid color with less content. The back side is a solid color with less content and the Uwell Crown logo. The pre-installed Uwell Crown X pod cartridge uses a 0.3ohm Meshed 0.3ohm coil, with a Meshed 0.6ohm coil as a spare. If you prefer MTL vaping, consider using the 0.6ohm coils.
Changing the coil is quite easy as it is a press fit, but you do need to pay focus to a flat edge on the coil which needs to align with a flat edge on the pod. It all pushes up flush which generally means it is going to be tricky to get rid of, but Uwell has you covered there as they have added 2 bevels on the base of the pod making it simple to get your fingernail under the coil edge and pops up easily and perfect.

It’s convenient that the device offers three trigger ignition modes. For me, the 0.3Ω mesh coil produces strong clouds of flavor, and the 42W power is my best choice for proportion and density. More power means more heat, and I don’t like the device to get too hot. If you want to produce a lot of vapor, you can also crank the power up to 60W, which is not a burden for the Uwell Crown X. The 0.6Ω coil is a good choice for a vaporizer with a high vapor density. The 0.6Ω coil delivers a softer, cooler smoke and is gentler on liquids for MTL vaping needs. No matter what kind you prefer, the Uwell Crown X maximizes performance and customizes your experience from DTL to RDL.
Officially, the Uwell crown X’s 0.3Ω and, 0.6Ω coils have a 66% increase in coil life compared to regular coils, with up to 30 days of continuous use. I’ve been using it for almost 7 days so far, and there’s no change in taste for now, so maybe it’s true.
Basic operation of the device
